Setting the wrong type in the About Land > Media tab causes a viewer freeze

Repro:
- Set media URL to http://www.google.com
- Set pulldown to Movies
- Press play
- Observe: viewer freezes.

This appears be fixed for Windows. Any problems on Linux/Mac?
