linux spacenavi support
Reported by Armin Weatherwax | December 13th, 2008 @ 09:34 PM
Hi, afaik no viewer project has a linux binary with spacenavi support out. Would be cool. I tried to apply http://jira.secondlife.com/secur... to the imprudence source, which works. Compiling fails because for unknown reason imprudence/linden/indra/viewer-linux-i686/newview/CMakeFiles/imprudence-bin.dir/link.txt references lndofdev twice. (So does lindenlabs source since a little while). My personal cheesy solution to get it work is to edit the second reference out of that file. I don't know how to fix it a proper way. Hehe, but i loved to see the imprudence viewer being the first having linux spacenavi support :)

I reverted my cmake from 2.6.2 to 2.4.8 - now no linking issues occur.

here is a patch to avoid the linking issues described above when using cmake 2.6.2; inspired by the LL hotfix to their trunk (which does not work for me).

I'm pretty sure this is done, so closing issue.
