(patch) imprudenced Hippo Gridmanager
Reported by Armin Weatherwax | January 28th, 2009 @ 05:45 PM | in 1.2.0
after git gave me some trouble finally a patch, it applies against jacek/next commit 14efa3235f4aa299f322372faeb2392763f7b5fe and looks like working well (given that ticket 51 is fixed).
It still needs some eyes seeing if a loved feature of Imprudence by accident disappeared. Discussion if this is useful is at http://imprudenceviewer.org/foru...
have fun :)

:)
i have a first bugfix:
more (not all) of the "hippolimits" are now actually used; some flaws (not all) about the login-channel are cleared;
new feature: user settings are now saved gridwise. that means Test User has the directory ~/.imprudence/test_user/ in which live eg. local.whatever.extention and secondlife.whatever.extention andsoon.whatever.extention ... including gridnick.password.dat and gridnick.screen_last.bmp ... the password part needs more eyes and more ideas
new bug: no hollow avail when building o.O ... needs more eyes

pushed to my 1.22 based branch:
http://github.com/ArminW/imprudence/commit/119cccebb684c6ad6341f146...well, still needs some more eyes on llstartup and llpanellogin.
And my "filepathgridhelper" hack looks ugly, too :/ -

I was working on the Meerkats port of the hippo gridmanager, account management and "Logoff" patches,
which seem all to work pretty good BUT the Logoff: getting back to the login screen works well, but again logging in crashes. I'm extremely clueless about why it works in Meerkat and not applying the patches to Imprudence. Randomly in rare cases I manage to get a "teleport" from OSGrid to my local opensim without crash; but usually I crash. At different startup states when using the worldmap to relog or using the logout menu and also different, when I relog and my Opensim didn't recognize I crashed.What to do? Like to have a look at it ?
