ok, you want to crash your client in new ways ... here is one more ... lol ... besides that it does:

play parcel music stream
-
play parcel video stream
it does not handle playlists (like m3u or pls or whatever playlist-like youtube provides).
depends on:libxine1 (I use 1.1.16.1 from Debian Sid)
about compiling: sdl complained about a redefinition, I did #ifndef that in the according header, but thats not part of the patch. Part of the patch is: lazy commenting/removing gstreamer in cmake files, so (I say that better one time to often) be careful that you don't break stuff when applying.
bugs:

a videostream containing no video is not stopping automatically

client locks sometimes while buffering video

video and audio can get out of sync

better way to convert the video stream

implement seek

let volume respect platform volume

get metadata out to a nice notifybox(i suggest to do that also for gstreamer)

handle playlists (... also for gstreamer)

try on other platforms than linux
